2023 Tour Champion

SCPDGT POINTS COMPETITION WILL BEGIN

March 2023 thru September 2023

The South Carolina Pro Duffers Golf Tour will begin in March. 

The SCPDGT is a 12 play date golf competition between members of SCPD. The Tour is based on a point system to determine the winner at the end of the tour. It is patterned much like the points earned by PGA Tour members during the year-long FED EX Format. Each member is eligible to participate by paying the $50 entry fee prior to their first competition. You will pay your golf fees at the course. 

You must text by 12 noon at least 3 days before the event to confirm you're playing. 

FORMAT: Individual Stroke Play 

TEE TIMES AND FOURSOMES: straight tees and you will be paired with similar handicapped players.

SKINS AND CTP: $10 a piece and optional for participation. Pay in cash day of event. 

Points are awarded to the low-NET winners on the designated play dates.

POINTS ARE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS:

• 1st Place winner receives 600 points
• 2nd Place winner receives 500 Points
• 3rd Place winner receives 400 points
• 4th place " 300 points
• 5th place " 200 points
• 6th place " 100 points
• Show -up “ 75 points

POINTS are totaled at the end of the Challenge. THE CHAMPION will receive a trophy plus 65% of the total proceeds. THE RUNNER-UP will receive 25% of the total proceeds. 10% will be used for awards and administration of the tour. 

USGA HANDICAP will be used for scoring, If your handicap is not updated, you will be assigned one until you play 3 events and then your official handicap will be in place. Max handicap is 20.

If a Wednesday pro league day is used as a tour date then 1/2 points will be awarded.  If a two day weekend event is used the double points will be awarded. 

YOU MUST BE A CURRENT 2023 SOUTH CAROLINA PRO DUFFER TO PARTICIPATE FOR TOUR AWARDS. Guests can play anytime but will not be eligible for post season awards. 

COURSES: Primarily within a hour of Metro Columbia- Cobblestone, Chester, Edgewater, Lancaster, Oak Hills, Traces, Santee National, Aiken CC, Mt. Vintage, LakeWood ( Dates and Courses not finalized).

Schedule will be posted in beginning February. We will begin collecting ENTRY FEES in February.
